Established 2000
A problem can be a ladder, enabling you to climb up and see your (circumstances) from a different perspective.
Diversified Funk continues to create experiences celebrating the history of African-Americans in music and entertainment. Whether as an Event Planner, Tour Manager, Live Music Coordinator, Curator or radio show host, MUSIC is my passion – the lyrics, melodies, images, and back stories.
In 2009, the Rock Hall featured 43 images from a larger collection of salvaged photographs from the Sepia magazine archive. This was the first time many of these images were seen since the magazine’s first publications (1948-1983). It was an honor to pour over such a treasure trove of memories.
Select images are now part of my jigsaw puzzle collection. These 520 piece puzzles become 16×20 masterpiece keepsakes. This should help bridge the gap until the completion of my book about the relevance of Sepia magazine, the images, editorials, and featured stories.
In the meantime, please browse my online store for essential oil candles to put you in a melodic mood while working your puzzle or wearing your 1440 t-shirt to remind you that time is too precious to waste.
Thank you for supporting small businesses such as mine!
Funkfully yours, Carole
