Check the map below to find us at this year’s Westside Flea! Be sure to scroll down just a bit more below if you are curious on more details of the event and how we are ensuring that we are practicing safe social distancing.
We are fast approaching our second Social Distancing Westside Flea. This is definitely a new experience for us all. We want to let you know we have not only met the Board of Health guidelines but have surpassed their requirements in many areas.
We want everyone to feel safe and comfortable as we ease back into a new way of living
Just a few things we have done. Designated in/out areas will be marked and manned. Sanitation stations placed throughout the Flea area. The Flea grounds will be roped off to drive people to one of the four openings. We rented porta potty to be placed by the lower restrooms. New ways of selling items and most of all spacing. There is a 12ft free space next to you on both sides and no one has another vendor directly behind you. We have the walkways marked one direction and vendor maps available. BOARD OF HEALTH GUIDELINES WILL BE AVAILABLE AT THE WELCOME DESK.
We, unfortunately, have had to eliminate certain things for safety reasons. The Kids Zone, the Alpacas, vendor bags, no pets, no shuttle, and the vendor raffle. We of course hope to have these return in the future.
Just a few last-minute items:
Remember to bring sanitizer and your mask and tape for your vendor sign We are asking for your assistance in helping to keep this a safe fun event
We know that the Board of Health and the city are looking at our event as an example as to how other events may be allowed to take place.
Let’s show them how it’s done safely.
If your unable to wear a mask please make sure you have your doctor’s note. No pets allowed at this time unless it is a service dog. Please have sanitizer in your space and set up so the customers and you have a 6ft space between you. Please stake or weigh down your canopies, last month we had several that almost took flight.
On the plus side, we will have the very talented New Hope Band entertaining us. The featured food trucks are Car Hop Burgers, Cedar Grill and Gourmet popsicles from Pop Culture. And of course, we have you as one of our wonderful vendors. We can come together in a safe way to enjoy the day.
We look forward to seeing you Saturday. Remember check-in starts at 7 am. If you are on the outer perimeter you may leave your car behind you. However, you need to know that the barrier will be put up between you and your car around 8 am.
If you have any questions please feel free to text Cathy at 440-539-0662 before Saturday or Saturday before 9 am. We will have workers around in our new logo tee shirts and they will be happy to help you out at the flea.
Questions? Just ask. We certainly will have a story to tell after the flea of how we all pulled together to make this event happen. Thank you in advance for joining us, and helping keep this event safe and fun for all who attend
See you Saturday morning,
Cathy, Michelle & Becky
